Global Healthcare Exchange Europe GmbH investment in Tecsol Limited
NELLEN represented Global Healthcare Exchange Europe GmbH, the operator of the largest European electronic healthcare exchange (the European joint venture between Colorado based Global Healthcare Exchange LLC and D. Logistics AG), on its investment in Tecsol Limited, a leading UK developer and supplier of software and eProcurement systems to the NHS.
Both GHX Europe and Tecsol have independently provided e-commerce and supply chain services to NHS trust hospitals and their suppliers. By combining their resources, Tecsol - A GHX Company (as Tecsol will be known) will benefit both hospitals and suppliers by increasing supply chain efficiencies through e-commerce and process automation.
Eric Jackson, the Director of eCommerce for the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency said: “The new company offers a tremendous opportunity to dramatically increase error-free electronic trading between the English NHS and its suppliers.”
Global Healthcare Exchange LLC is owned by representatives of the entire healthcare supply chain, including hospitals and suppliers such as Johnson & Johnson.
